Tony Lingham, PhD Tony Lingham is spearheading the globe with his work assessing experiential approach to team interaction and evidence-based team coaching. He has developed the Learning Needs Inventory (LNI) that assesses and profile individual’s underlying motivational learning needs when working with others and the Team Learning Inventory (TLI) that capures actual and desired team experience along four major dimensions of teamwork. His work has been used globally over the past 19 years with strong, realibility, validitiy and robustness. He began his executive leadership role in his early 20s when he was the Principal Staff Officer (Logistics) and engineer with 14 secondary appointments and leading 250 personnel. Since then, Tony combined his knowledge and expertise in music performance, composition, engineering, psychology, organizational behavior with his leadership experience in organizations to work on assessment, coaching, development and change from the individual to organization levels. After 19 years of testing his evidence-based coaching approach and showing that his work has been validated and robust across global cultures, he published his book High-Impact Engagement. In healthcare, he was part of a research team funded by two 5-year grants on assessing and developing inter-professional teamwork. Recently, he developed the Design Summit to help organizations achieve breakthrough innovations. He is on the editorial board of Engaged Management Review, advisory board member of e-Merit Academy, and the editorial advsiory board of Kindai Management Review (Japan). He was invited by John Wiley Publishers to do a podcast about his work on High-Impact Engagment and another on the Design Summit. In 2018, he was cited in www.forbes.com for his work with executive boards. Tony obtained his Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from Case Western Reserve University.
