Dr. Matt Boyne teaches Management in the Fermanian School of Business at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego. His doctorate is from Pepperdine University where his research focused on human-system integration in high-risk operating environments. His current research focuses on human-systems integration as part of an organization's digital transformation as well as team-based learning as a way to reduce student social-media and web-based distractions. His experience in the field includes building teams in high-risk operating environments, project management as part of national security challenges, and aviation. He is an Aviation Transport Professional and has flown globally in commercial operations. Before entering the private sector he was a pilot in the US Navy.
