The purpose of this workshop is to provide a face-to-face opportunity for those interested in workforce development (including faculty development and workforce training in multiple occupations) to consider the translational factors required. There is enormous potential for the dissemination of TBL as an instructional method in the workforce. We have learners in our academic institutions for only a few years. Since TBL is meant to provide real world learning experiences in academic settings, it makes sense to follow our learners out into the workforce, where they are likely to spend many years as lifelong learners
