Dr. Yuan Zhao, PhD, is a Professor and Chair of the Molecular and Cellular Biology Department at Sam Houston State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She has led national and institutional initiatives advancing medical education innovation, securing extramural funding and publishing widely on curriculum design and pedagogy. As principal investigator of a recent pilot study on AI-assisted training, Dr. Zhao brings recognized leadership in integrating emerging technologies into health professions education.
