Dr. Gomaa is an Associate Cl. Professor of Otolaryngology, with research interests in quality enhancement of medical education, healthcare quality improvement, and patient safety. She is a certified peer reviewer and educational consultant, has a certificate in leadership from the University of Alberta, a certificate in Patient’s Safety Quality Management [PSQM] from the University of Calgary, Canada; and completed the Higher Education Teaching Certificate from BOK Harvard University, U.S.A. Dr. Gomaa is the director of undergraduate medical education, a member of TBLC, Association of Medical Education in Europe [AMEE], and Society of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education [STLHE]. Additionally, she is on the Editorial board of “Frontiers in Education”.
