Michael Stallard, Connection Culture Group
Michael is an author, thought leader, speaker and a widely recognized expert on how effective leaders boost human connection in cultures to improve the health and performance of individuals and organizations. He is the author of Connection Culture: The Competitive Advantage of Shared Identity, Empathy and Understanding at Work and Fired Up or Burned Out: How to Reignite Your Team’s Passion, Creativity and Productivity, and a contributor to other books.

He is a faculty member at the Institute for Management Studies. Texas Christian University created the TCU Center for Connection Culture to advance Connection Culture at TCU and in higher education generally.
Prior to founding the Connection Culture Group, Michael was a managing director on Wall Street. Earlier in his career he worked in the technology sector. Michael is married to Katharine Stallard. They have two grown daughters.
Workshop Speakers
Michael Glenn is Orangebox’s Director of Development & Innovation. With 30 years’ experience of working in the public, private and voluntary sector he brings a balance of credibility and enthusiasm to the training room and can quickly build rapport with learners at all levels.
His career takes in roles in secondary education, learning & development and welfare to work across employers including Middlesbrough Football Club, Centrepoint and A4e.
Michael’s role at Orangebox sees him involved in the design and delivery of a range of training provision, working with companies such as Capgemini, Equans, UPP and The Banks Group to provide engaging activity for teams and individuals.
He has adopted the principles of TBL to support his workshop delivery and supports fellow L&D practitioners to understand the benefits and impact of the approach within corporate training and professional development settings.
She is currently a PhD Researcher at the University of Bradford, an advisory teacher for Darlington Children's Services and Director of RAW Inspiration Ltd. She has worked with many primary and secondary schools, colleges, universities, charities and private companies.
Many of Rachel's educational resources have been published online and she has recently co-authored a book with Dr. Mark Jamieson (an award-winning coach), which was published in April 2024.
