Thinking about scanning? A fundamental overview of terrestrial scanning requirements, setup, and applications. Participants will be exposed to how to correctly setup a scanning project, what design and scan parameters will be needed, and what, if any, limitations current equipment may have. This seminar is designed to be hands on, participants would need to download FARO Scene, current version (demo), and have a computer to handle small scans (normally a decent laptop can handle 5(ish) scans). Participants will walk through demo projects, scans, register scans, and utilize the software to obtain measurements.
