Date & Time
Saturday, February 12, 2022, 1:15 PM - 5:15 PM
Marshall Robinson
Description

This seminar will take a close look at the various types of conflict that a land surveyor will encounter in performing boundary surveys and his/her role in their resolution, either as a mediator managing conflict between hostile parties, as the decider determining the weight of conflicting evidence, and especially as the expert witness testifying in defense of his/her decisions. It will offer insights into the managing of difficult clients and adjoiners, the interpretation and resolution of conflicting deeds and field evidence, and will focus on how a surveyor navigates the perilous world of litigation between disputing parties.
