Amanda has an MEd from the University of Missouri in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis and has worked in higher education for thirteen years. She joined the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 2022 and serves as the Director of Student Affairs. In her role, Amanda manages the learning communities program including student professional development, faculty coaching, faculty development, and creating a sense of belonging on campus. Additionally, Amanda is a certified CliftonStrengths coach through Gallup and uses her expertise to aid in the development of strong co-curricular programming. Her experiences in student affairs were critical in envisioning and implementing SaP work at KUSM.
