Dr. Carrie Pickworth focuses on Ruminant Management and Nutrition. Her academic focus ranges from pre-college Livestock Science Camp to associate-level Animal Feeds and Nutrition, baccalaureate Beef Cattle Management, and graduate-level Applied Ruminant Nutrition. Her research program is diverse, supporting predominantly beef cattle and sheep nutrition and management projects. These include weaning stress, fescue toxicosis, and stocker cattle grazing cover crops.
