The 2024 Science of Team Science Planning Committee is pleased to announce the call for abstracts for the 2024 SciTS Conference, to be held virtually from July 30-August 1, 2024. The theme for this year’s conference is “Insights on the Science of Team Science: 15 Years and Counting.”

The SciTS Annual Conference is the flagship event of the International Network for the Science of Team Science (INSciTS). It continues to be the premier annual gathering of scholars, practitioners, and providers in the field of Team Science, bringing together a broad range of disciplines to share and advance the latest evidence-based methods in team collaboration and transdisciplinary science. Speakers and attendees will include investigators, administrators, students, funders, and policymakers. Our community includes academia, government, industry, and many other sectors, and spans a multitude of knowledge domain spaces. Anyone interested in improving collaborative research and discovery is welcome!

This year, the SciTS 2024 Conference will be hosted in a platform called "Gather Town." With the help of our friends at Virtual Chair, the SciTS Conference will be going virtual in a fun and engaging way. Gather Town is virtual reality platform where our attendees will navigate using a customizable avatar. You will control this avatar and move to "room" to "room" throughout the conference. You will be able to interact with the avatars of other attendees as well as the speakers, and will have the ability to engage in enriching conversations in a way that other virtual conference platforms cannot.
