Question: How do I obtain the pre-readings?
Answer: Pre-readings will be sent to you based upon your session registrations at least 6 week prior to the start of the meeting
 
Question: What is the room rate?
Answer: The room rate is $239 per night during the 2019 TBLC Conference.
 
Question: Why am I not getting the correct rate when registering?
Answer: Your membership may be listed under a different email address than the one you are trying to use to register. Check and make sure that you are using the same email address for both.
 
Question: Are meals included with my registration fee?
Answer: Yes, meals are included with your registration fee. Lunch on Thursday is not included, however.
 
Question: Why do I have to pre-register for sessions?
Answer: We ask that you pre-register for sessions to allow presenters to have an accurate headcount for their sessions. Many presenters tailor their sessions for the amount of registered attendees. It also ensures that they will have sufficient materials. 
 
Question: Can I switch sessions after I’ve registered?
Answer: Yes, you can switch sessions after you have registered. To modify your registration please visit http://www.tblcmeeting.org and click the, "Already Registered?" link at the bottom of the page to log back into the conference website. You will need your registration confirmation number contained in your receipt email.
 
Question: I can only attend part of the conference – do I still have to pay for the whole conference?
Answer: Yes, you must pay the full registration fee even if you only intend to stay part of the day.
 
Question: Can my guest attend sessions?
Answer:  No. The guest fee only covers the cost of meals and attendance at the plenary sessions. If your guest wishes to attend other sessions, they must pay the full registration rate.
 
Question: What’s the cancellation policy?
Answer: Your registration fee, less a $100 US administrative fee, will be refunded when the TBLC Office receives written notification before January 15, 2019. Substitutions can be made. Refunds will be made on a case-by-case basis after January 15, 2019. No refunds will be made after February 1, 2019.
 
Question: How do I get into the Trainer-Consultant Program?
Answer: Acceptance to the Trainer-Consultant Program is contingent upon review of a submitted module by the Training and Certification Committee. A complete module consists of behaviorally-defined learning objectives, advance assignments, readiness assurance test (RAT) with best answers indicated, and application exercises. Please contact Dr. Paul Koles (paul.koles@wright.edu) for additional information regarding the Trainer-Consultant Program.
 
Question:  Will a laptop be provided?
Answer: Laptop computers will not be provided for workshop presenters.
 
Question: Do we need to bring our own Mac Book converter?
Answer: Yes, please bring any converters for your laptop you may have. Our projectors work with VGA and HDMI cables.
 
Question: What’s the WIFI password?
Answer: The WiFi password will be available on site.
 
Question: What’s the fee for parking/airport shuttle?
Answer: The Renaissance Tampa International Plaza Hotel offers complimentary on-site parking and valet parking for $23 daily. Transportation to/from the Tampa International Airport is provided on request and is complimentary. Average taxi rate to/from airport is $10.
 
Question: How do I obtain my receipt?
Answer: To obtain an emailed receipt for your conference registration please contact support@tblcadmin.org
 
Question: How do I register as a student?
Answer: If you are a student registering for the TBLC Meeting and would like the discounted student rate, please email a letter from your dean or department chair on university letterhead stating that you are a student to support@tblcadmin.org.
 
Question: What's the best way to get around Tampa?
Answer:

Question: What are the details for the 5k running tours on Wednesday and Saturday?
This year we are please to offer two opportunites to take a running tour of the Downtown and River Walk areas of Tampa! Each run will begin at 6am and start at 333 S Franklin St., between the Tampa Convention Center and the water. The pace will be conversational with plenty of opportunities to take photos and see some fantastic Tampa highlights. Start to finish, the run will be just under an hour. Runners will be meeting tour leader, Laura Bradley, near the dock for water taxis. She's the one in a bright pink Go! Running tank top. You can't miss her!
