Dr. Haidet is a long time TBL practitioner, trainer and champion. He was a co-investigator on the FIPSE grant that started the TBL revolution in medical education, and was a founding member of the TBL collaborative. He authored many of the first TBL papers in the medical literature, including one of the systematic reviews of TBL, and the 2012 paper on guidelines for reporting TBL activities in the literature. He has also been at the forefront of using jazz as an entrée into building skills for improvisation in teaching and medical practice.
