Frequently Asked Questions

Answer: There will be wifi available during the meeting. To connect to the wifi on-site, please use the network ufguest. Once you connect, you will be prompted with the university's wireless internet agreement.

Answer: Yes, laptop computers will be provided for workshop presenters. We will provide each room with a laptop computer, a projector that works with VGA and HDMI cables, A-E voting cards, a flip chart, and markers. Please bring any additional items you will need for your presentation with you, including any specialized adaptors.

As the University of Florida is currently on their spring break, meeting attendees are welcome to park in the student area of the south lot behind the College of Pharmacy building, which is the green area on the bottom two rows indicated on the map below. Attendees may also park in the visitor parking section in the north lot.

Answer: Pre-readings will be sent to you based upon your session registrations 2 weeks prior to the start of the meeting. Pre-readings can also be accessed by logging in here. 

Answer: Your registration fee, less a $100 US administrative fee, will be refunded when the TBLC Office receives written notification before January 15, 2023. Substitutions can be made. Refunds will be made on a case-by-case basis after January 15, 2023. No refunds will be made after February 1, 2023.

Answer: Once you've completed your registration, you can click the "Invoice" button on the final page. If you completed your registration previously, you can click "Modify Registration" at the bottom of this page and click the "Invoice" button on the final page. You can also request one directly from the TBLC team by contacting support@tblcadmin.org.

Answer: All lunches are included with registration fees. Breakfasts will be "on your own." Pre-conference workshop attendees will receive a box lunch on Saturday and Sunday. 

Answer: There are several ways to get around Orlando including public transit, taxis, and private transportation services such as Uber and Lyft. Meeting attendees should also receive a voucher for Uber for transport between the Residence Inn and the University of Florida campus. 

Answer: We ask that you pre-register for sessions to allow presenters to have an accurate headcount for their sessions. Many presenters tailor their sessions for the amount of registered attendees. It also ensures that they will have sufficient materials.

Answer: Your membership may be listed under a different email address than the one you are trying to use to register. Check and make sure that you are using the same email address for both. If you are still having issues, please contact support@tblcadmin.org.

Answer: The room rate for the Residence Inn Orlando Lake Nona is $179.00 per night. Currently, the room block reserved at the Residence Inn is full.

Answer: Yes, you must pay the full registration fee even if you only intend to stay part of the day.

Answer: If you are a student registering for the TBLC Meeting and would like the discounted student rate, please email a letter from your dean or department chair on university letterhead stating that you are a student to support@tblcadmin.org.
