The aim of this workshop is to provide participants with the opportunity to view, discuss and design a range of different types of application exercises, and to encourage them to become more creative in task design and methods of assessment. Participants will have the opportunity to experience several different types of applications and methods of assessment, and to critique them. These experiences will be used to provide participants with the opportunity to develop more creative approaches to the design and assessment of their own application exercises. This may be particularly valuable in courses where it is important that students are able to generate their own options in order to decide on a specific course of action.
