GatherTown FAQ

GatherTown is a virtual space platform that will be conducting the ASPBP 2023 Conference. It provides a virtual environment for attendees to interact, network, and attend an event in real-time as if they were in a physical space. Attendees will have an avatar in the space that they can customize that will be used to interact with the venue. To learn more, click here!

When you are signing into GatherTown, make sure that you are using the same email address that you registered with. That email address is the one listed on the "passlist" and will be required for entry. If you need to change your email address in the system, please contact support@aspbp.org. If you are using the email address you registered with, please reach out to help-aspbp-2023@virtualchair.net

No downloads are necessary, as GatherTown does have a desktop version. Gather Town does recommend that you download their desktop app, which you may do by clicking here

GatherTown is currently open for attendees to explore, however the space is currently limited. Please be mindful of how long you are in GatherTown so that others have a chance to explore. GatherTown will be available with no limitations starting October 4 at 12:00 AM EDT.

The schedule listed in GatherTown is a daily schedule. If you are in GatherTown prior to the conference, the schedule will be empty. If you want to view the full schedule including which presentation is being held when and where, please click here to view the conference schedule.
