Question: What is the room rate?
Answer: The room rate at the Hilton Denver City Center Hotel is $199 per room through May 2, 2022. To book your stay, please click HERE. 
 
Question: Why am I not getting the correct rate when registering?
Answer: Your membership may be listed under a different email address than the one you are trying to use to register. Check and make sure that you are using the same email address for both. Please note that newly-registered members will not reflect the members-only pricing for up to 3 business days after their registration with IAMSE. (If you continue to receive the incorrect rate, please reach out to support@iamse.org.
 
You may also choose to join the Association during your event registration for only $25.
 
Question: Are meals included with my registration fee?
Answer: Breakfast and lunch on Saturday, June 4 are for pre-conference workshop attendees only. All other meals, except the Gala Dinner, are included with your registration fee. The Gala Dinner is an additional $65.
 
Question: Why do I have to pre-register for sessions?
Answer: We ask that you pre-register for sessions to allow presenters to have an accurate headcount for their sessions. Many presenters tailor their sessions for the amount of registered attendees. It also ensures that they will have sufficient materials. 
 
Question: Can I register for pre-conference workshops ONLY?
Answer: 
No. Virtual and in-person pre-conference workshops are available to sign up for in addition to a virtual or in-person member or non-member registration. In-person pre-conference workshops are also available to sign up for with a one-day registration of Saturday, June 4th. 
 
Question: Can I switch sessions after I’ve registered?
Answer: Yes, you can switch sessions after you have registered. To modify your registration, please click the, "Modify Registration" button at the bottom of the page to log back into the conference website. You will need to enter your email address and password you set up during registration to modify your reigstration. If you do not remember your registration password, click HERE. If you need additional assistance, please email support@iamse.org. 
 
Question: Can my guest attend sessions?
Answer:  No. The guest fee only covers the cost of meals and attendance at the plenary sessions. If your guest wishes to attend other sessions, they must pay the full registration rate.
 
Question: What’s the cancellation policy?
Answer: Your registration fee, less a $100 US administrative fee, will be refunded when the IAMSE Office receives written notification before April 15, 2022. Substitutions can be made. No refunds will be made after May 1, 2022.
 
Question: What are the COVID precautions during this event?
Answer: 
The USA is currently experiencing significant numbers of SARS-CoV-2 infections, including the Omicron variant. The CDC currently recommends that fully vaccinated people can further reduce their risk of becoming infected with the Omicron variant and transmitting it to others by wearing a mask in public indoor settings in areas of substantial or high community transmission. Masks are encouraged but not mandatory.
 
Question:  I am a presenter, will a laptop be provided?
Answer: Laptop computers will be available if needed. Please bring your presentation on a USB drive. If possible, please bring your own laptop as a back up. IAMSE will not provide any laptop to projector converters. We will provide each room with a projector, which work with VGA and HDMI cables. A-E voting cards, a flip charts, and markers are available by request only. Please bring any additional items you will need for your presentation with you.
 
Question: Do we need to bring our own Mac Book converter?
Answer: Yes, please bring any converters for your laptop you may have. Our projectors work with VGA and HDMI cables.
 
Question: Will I have Wifi for my session?
Answer: Wifi access will not be provided for attendees and presenters outside of the provided hotel Wifi. 
 
Question: How do I obtain my receipt?
Answer: Once you've completed your registration, you can click the "Invoice" button on the final page. If you completed your registration previously, you can click "Modify Registration" at the bottom of this page and click the "Invoice" button on the final page. You can also request one directly from the IAMSE office by emailing support@iamse.org.
 
Question: How do I register as a student?
Answer: If you are a student registering for the IAMSE Meeting and would like the discounted student rate, please email a letter from your dean or department chair on university letterhead stating that you are a student to support@iamse.org.
 
Question: What is included with Virtual-Only registration?
Answer: At this time, Virtual-Only registration will include access to pre-recorded oral presentations, and online poster presentations. Virtual pre-conference faculty development workshops are available at an additional cost.
