Poster and Oral Presenter FAQ

If you would like to add or change the presenter on your abstract the following criteria must be met:

  1. The person being added MUST have been listed as a coauthor at the time of submission. Any individual who was not included as an original coauthor cannot be added. 
  2. ALL presenters listed on an abstract must be registered for the conference by April 22.
    Any abstract without complete registrations of all presenters will be removed from the program after April 22.

No - while we encourage everyone to participate in the conference, only the presenters must be registered by the April 22nd deadline.

Assignment of presentation times and dates will be shared in May. We will notify everyone of the presentation schedule as soon as we have it available. It will also be posted to this site.

Once the presentation schedule has been posted it is considered final and no further requests will be permitted.

We cannot guarantee requests for specific presentation day/times. If you have a strict time conflict please send your request via the following form: Abstract Author Request Form and we will do our best to accommodate.

The presentation schedule, once published, is considered final and changes will not be accepted.

There is no virtual component to the 2024 NACTA Conference.

We do not offer a discounted registration rate to our poster/oral presenters *however* an early bird registration discount code was included in your abstract's notification email.

If you are a student, please attach a letter from your dean or department chair on university letterhead using the Abstract Author Request Form.*

If you are unable to pay at this time, we ask that you please select the "Invoice" option on the payment page at the end of the registration process. We will require payment prior to the conference. If you are unable to complete your registration by the deadline please contact us at support@nactateachers.org to notify us and prevent admin removal of your abstract. 

You must notify the NACTA Admin office (support@nactateachers.org) if you intend to pay for your registration on-site at the conference. Any presenter who has not paid or communicated with the admin office will have their presentation removed. 

Any abstract without complete registrations of ALL presenters will be removed from the program after April 22. 

Poster size information will be posted to this page in May.

Oral presenters will be given 10 minutes of presentation time with 5 minutes of Q&A.

All author accounts were removed after the submission deadline to maintain confidentiality between authors and reviewers during the review process.
