IAMSE Conference Venues & Hotels

The IAMSE 2025 Conference will be taking place in three locations and has secured a room block for two hotels. With the exception of the location for our Pre-Conference activities, such as the Professional Development Certification Workshops, all of these locations are located directly next to one another with pedestrian bridges connecting them all.

The CTCC will host the majority of sessions during the IAMSE 2025 Conference, including:

  • Plenary Addresses
  • Focus Sessions
  • Poster & Oral Presentations
  • General Assemblies, such as the General Membership Meeting

Calgary TELUS Convention Centre Maps

Ground Floor

This is the location of the TELUS Rooms, which will be used for Focus Sessions, Oral Presentations, and other events best suited for a breakout-style room. We will be using the following rooms for our conference:

  • TELUS 101 - 102
  • TELUS 103
  • TELUS 104
  • TELUS 105
  • TELUS 106
  • TELUS 107
  • TELUS 108 - 109

This floor does have an exit to the street and lets out onto 8th Avenue SE. There is also a coffee shop directly across from where the elevator ends. From the General Session location, described below, you can access these rooms by taking the escalator or the elevator towards the bottom-left of the map. 

First Floor, General Session Location

This is the location of the General Session room, the Poster Hall, and the Exhibitor Foyer. The General Session room is where the Plenaries, Meals, and General Assemblies will take place. Please note that the Opening Ceremony and Opening Reception will not be taking place here. They will be held at the Hyatt Regency next door. 

The hall labeled "C" will be the Poster Hall and the halls labeled "D" and "X" will be the General Session room. Exhibitors will line the space labeled "Pre-Function", which is pictured above. 

If you are staying at the Hyatt Regency, there is a walkway that leads directly to the hotel. If you are staying at the Marriott, you will want to go past the Starbucks to the escalators to get to the Glenn rooms; from there, a pedestrian bridge will take you to this location. 

First Floor, Glen Rooms Location

Crossing the pedestrian bridge from the General Session location, you will find yourself at the Glen Rooms. These rooms, similar to the TELUS Rooms, will be used for Focus Sessions, Oral Presentations, and other breakouts. We will be using the following rooms for our conference:

  • Glen 201 - 202
  • Glen 203 - 204
  • Glen 205
  • Glen 206
  • Glen 208 - 209

If you are staying at the Marriott, to get to the Glen rooms you will go past the Starbucks through the doors with the Calgary TELUS logo. From there, take the escalators up and you will be just outside of the Glen room location. If you are staying at the Hyatt Regency, you will cross the pedestrian bridge from the General Session location described above.
